The Grillo Collezione di Famiglia is an Italian white wine produced by the Barone Montalto winery with Grillo grapes from vineyards located Sicily. The 2017 vintage of the Grillo Collezione di Famiglia has a pale yellow color. Its charming nose offers perfumes of lemon confit associated to yellow and exotic fruits like mango. The mouth is full and crisp. The lemon is noticed again with some vanilla and little hints of salt. Only the medium finish will restrain me to declare that this is a great wine, but it is still an excellent wine for its price level, a great companion to all Mediterranean cuisine plates. This Grillo Collezione di Famiglia from Barone Montalto got a 90 points appreciation from the Falstaff wine guide 2018 tasting.
