This Chardonnay Bovel is produced by the winery Weingut Daniel & Monika Marugg located in Fläsch, a small village in the state Graubünden, an alpine area in the Eastern part of Switzerland. Its 2017 vintage is a wide-body pale-yellow wine offering charming vanilla perfumes. The palate can appreciate vanilla and yellow fruits aromas associated to some minerality that is typical of the Fläsch terroir. I also tasted some hints of oak as this Chardonnay Bovel is fermented and aged in oak barrels.
