This Chardonnay St. Stephan Réserve is a white wine produced by the winery Weingut Uli Metzger in the Paltinate (Pfalz) area of the South of Germany. The 2018 vintage is a charming medium-body elegant mineral wine that offers lemony and vanilla aromas with hints of oak. It is very smooth in the palate with buttery sensations that made me think about a nice Chardonnay from Burgundy.
