Wine Tasting Reviews from Switzerland and the World: Red, White, Rosé, Sweet and Sparkling
Georg Breuer Rüdesheim Riesling Estate 2016, Germany

Georg Breuer Rüdesheim Riesling Estate 2016, Germany

This Georg Breuer Rüdesheim Riesling Estate 2016 is a white wine produced in the Rheingau region of Germany by the Georg Breuer winery from vineyards located next to Wiesbaden on the shore of the Rhine river.

The 2016 vintage of the Georg Breuer Rüdesheim Riesling Estate is a bright yellow elegant wine with expressive perfumes of oak, peach and citrus with hints of minerality. The palate is charmed by a diversity of aromas: green apples, citrus, peach, minerality in a liquid perfectly balanced between crispiness and roundness. Even a wine amateur might be initially skeptic with this screw-top bottle of wine displaying only 11,5% of alcohol, but this is a superb elegant and aromatic Riesling. Having a wine tasting at the winery with Theresa Breuer is a wine experience that I will always remember and recommend to everyone.
